The Vogue Guide trainers

Hello all,

Today I wanted to share with you "The Vogue guide to trainers". They became "in fashion" nowadays, the same as old birkenstock sandals. Fashion is changing and it's fine to wear your sneakers with a dress. I actually never did that and I'm not sure if I could create that type of outfit. Any way see what Vogue is suggesting to us:

Adopt: The Oversized Tailored Trouser

Forget last season's track pant: even the perennially casual Caroline de Maigret keeps her plimsolls slick by pairing with smoothly pressed suit trousers.
Here you can buy the sneakers: Pony Topstar at Size.co.uk

Invest: Ornamental Sneakers

Trainers may have moved on from their cyber punk moment, but princess jewels and high-shine still reign supreme. Take inspiration from fashion director Lucinda Chambers styling for Vogue's October 2012 issue - wouldn't it be fun to trip the light fantastic in glittering sneakers and a priceless Valentino Haute Couture gown?
Here you can find some cool sneakers: Farfetch.com

Start collecting: Adidas Superstar 2

The well-worn Seventies basketball shoe has overtaken the biker boot as the models' favourite footwear. Seek out the supplest vintage versions in primary colours or paint your own. Edie Campbell's pair came in handy when demonstrating her famous balletic walk on stage at the Vogue Festival.

Styling trick: A football sock

Our take on the Brazilian World Cup has a Royal Tenenbaums slant - pair your box-fresh Nikes with knee-high sports socks.

The New Wave: Monogram Prints

Louis VuittonNicolas Ghesquière's arrival at Louis Vuitton hailed a new era for the classic monogram. Beat the waiting list for his covetable debut LV handbags and sport the house's logo now with a pair of Punchy Sneakers.

Wear: Juicy Acid Colours

We call it geek-rave: the hottest Easter weekend dance parties demand eye-popping high-tech accessories.

Do you have your fav sneakers?

Cleansing wipes, the dirty truth

Wipes were once the preserve of the baby changing table but in today's household you're likely to find wipes in every corner of the home and it is the beauty routine which has seen the biggest change.
With that, we'll probably start to see a change to the nation's skin too - and not necessarily a good one says skin expert
Caroline Hirons : "I can spot a woman that uses a cleansing cloth a mile off, it just looks like they haven't washed their face properly. There will be residue around the hairline and her skin will look like it's in dire need of some exfoliation."
Sarah Chapman , beauty specialist, skincare expert and founder of Skinesis agrees: "I see a lot of women with skin that's become blocked, sensitised and covered in rashes because of cloths come into my clinic. In a nutshell I am not a fan."
The reason for cleansing wipes' aggravating nature is tri-fold. Firstly, most wipes contain alcohol, to help the wipe hold onto ingredients. Secondly, they don't actually clean the face completely; they don't lift off oil and sebum properly, won't remove dirt in its entirety and tend to leave a residue on skin. Thirdly the ingredients and chemicals  are extremely irritating for skin."
Also we tend to press harder with a cloth than we would with a cream cleanser and it exacerbates the situation. If you have acne or sensitivity - particularly on the cheeks - a wipe does far more harm than good.

Are you using face wipes. Hope this article will make you to consider ditching them. I always have face wipes in my car, but I use them to wipe my hands.
