Kisses from Iquazu Falls

Hi All,

I just arrived to Iquazu Falls with my husband, and I must say it's heaven on Earth!!! Hotel das Cataratas is located just beside the Falls. The views are outstanding and the hotel itself is so chic. Vogue is everywhere:-) At the pool we're getting some small drinks, cold towels and we're being visited by quite a big lizards. If you have a chance to be here do it!!! There are 270 little waterfalls. It's breathtaking. I never seen a place like that in my life. No wonder it is listed under UNESCO.
Once I come back to Ireland I will post more pictures.

Have a nice day girls

How to paint a rug

Hi Girls,

Call me crazy, but I was thinking that finding a yellow rug with white stripes will be easy. Well the fact is, that I couldn't find even one in Dublin. I came accross to posts about how to paint a rug. Believe me I was exactly the same as you: what? Are they mad!!! Why would you paint a rug??? Beside it will look awful! Any way I gave up after trying to find one so I decided it's time to try to do it myself. As suggested in many post the best base rug to use it the ERSLEV Rug from IKEA. They are easy to work with. If you mess it up you can always start again as they are reversible

Things that you need to know:
1. Make sure that you choose the right size of the rug. You can use a rug with a low nap or a flat woven, which apparently work the best. I only tested so far flat woven rug and I’m very happy with it.
2. Before you start make sure that you know what kind of pattern would you like to have on your rug. Some bloggers were sketching their pattern on the paper. It’s up to you .You should use a tape measure and measure the rug you are using and then figure out the dimensions of the pattern you are creating.
3. Some bloggers use a foam roller to distribute the paint. I used a brush, which worked well for me. But if you are painting for the first time I think you better off using a roller, as it will save you some time. Tip: Put the paint in a paint tray, roll the roller in the paint and then roll it on a paper towel before you roll it on the rug. That keeps the paint from being so liquid that it runs underneath the tape.
4. Make sure that you roll from the edge of the tape in, toward the bare rug. The same situation with the brush. That way paint shouldn’t get underneath the tape.
5. Make sure to apply more than one coat of paint. One coat won’t give you good cover.
6. Once you are done, leave the rug to dry over the night.
7. The last thing is to protect your beauty, so make sure to use fabric protector. I used Scotchgard fabric protector. To be safe, spray it first on the backside of the rug just to make sure that it doesn’t discolor your rug. Scotchgard fabric protector is available in Woodies.

I used Fleetwood external paint. The colour is really nice and contrast really well with the white stripes.

Here is the pattern. Make sure that tape sticks really well to the rug.

This is how it looks like:-)

Hope you all like it.
Good luck with your rug.

How to "pimp" your bikini

Hi Girls,

As we go on holidays every year, it would be nice to have pictures with different bikini on each year! I know it doesn't make a sense to do this. It's not only will cost you a fortune but also how many days a year do you wear it??? Here is solution for you girls. You won't look at your pictures in the same bikini.

I've chosen my Victoria Secrets bikini for a small  makeover. It looks great on a tanned body, it contrast really well:-) I bought it few years ago and I cannot get rid of it, I like it too much. I was looking at my holidays pictures from Malta. I spent there great time with my girlfriends. The weather was great, we partied a lot and we tanned a lot too. Well only one small thing was painful.... I broke my little toe. Maybe some time I will tell you that story.

I don't know if you are a fan of Gok Wan, but he has a lot of good ideas. Well he has crazy ideas too, but I like to watch his shows! He makes girls to feel good in their bodies Watching his show is like free therapy. The other thing is that he talks about the shops he bought his pieces from. This is how I found JOSY ROSE. I bought from her website few different stones and silver collar.

I used acrylic stones for my bikini makeover. First make sure to that you know what you want to do with your bikini and how many stones do you need. I layer out the patter and I counted the amount of the stones I needed to make sure that I have enough.

Now I think I'm ready to go to the beach.

I'm sending you lots of love from Rio de Janeiro

My Favourite moisturizing hair products

Hi All,

As a girl with long hair and dry ends, I was always looking for that little magic. It took me ages to find a product that would help my hair to look healthy, shiny and smooth. I went through many products, some were good some I wouldn't even like to mention. I fell in love with few:-)

Moroccanoil is my lates love

Moroccanoil is helping to restore shine, strengthen the hair and condition your hair from root to tip. This hydrating oil instantly absorbs into the hair, giving you an instant shine with long-term conditioning, without leaving any trace of residue. Moroccanoil is fortified with essential nutrients. By balancing the damage that is caused by chemical processing, styling and environmental factors, this oil successfully restores health, shine and strength. There’s also UV guard which will protect your hair from the sun's harmful rays, while the patented weightless formula prevents build-up – meaning that even the thickest strands of hair become softer, shinier and easier to manage. Natural ingredients and intensive nutrients ensure that your hair is given the boost it needs to restore your mane to full health and strength. The best thing about this product is that you have to use only tiny bit to get instant results. One bottle will last really long.
.

Another one I use is Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask. It doesn’t need heat to be activated. I tend to use this mask once I was my hair. I use conditioner before I put my mask. I think it gives the best results for my hair, but to be honest I’m more than sure that you will get shiny hair even if you won’t use your regular conditioner. Just wash your hair and then put Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask on your hair. They say that 5 to 7 minutes is enough to achieve satisfying results. If you have a time you can keep it on your hair a bit longer. Believe me you will love it the same as I love it.

Both products you can get in here. The delivery is for free. If you hapen to be asked to pay for the customs, than make sure to send a copy of your bill to the feelunique and they will give you the money back.

I have to mention KERASTASE. My favourites from their products are treatments: Aqua Oleum & Vita Ciment and Nutritive Masquintense.

Kérastase Masquintense Cheveux is an intensive nutritive treatment for fine, very dry, extremely sensitised hair. TIt will nourish your hair from root to tip. It is formulated with glucose, proteins and lipids. Kérastase Masquintense Cheveux will leave your fine, very dry hair soft to the touch, supple and light. It gives instant results. It's available on feelunique.com or you can purchase it in most of the hair salons.

To achieve instant and lasting nutrition for your dry hair I would recommend to use Aqua oleum treatment. It is not available in the shops, only online (ie eBay). This nourishing treatment penetrates the hair fibre thanks to the Nutri-huille technology to leave hair feeling ultra-light and silky from root to tip.
Kérastase Aqua-Oleum treatment combines nano-nutrition, jojoba and avocado oils to form an ultra fine emulsion that works to penetrate your dry to moderately dry hair immediately. This nourishing treatment provides long lasting nutrition to your hair to leave it detangled, soft and silky after just one application. If you colour your hair a lot this treatment is definitely for you!!!

Anothere treatment I used myself is Vita Ciment treatment, which is highly concentrated reconstructive treatment for weakened hair.

Hope this will sort your bad hair days:-)

Cosy outfit for chilly days

Hi All,

I have another outfit idea for you.To be honest with you I find it hard to decide what to wear as the weather changes in Ireland so quickly. This outfit will keep you nice and cosy and still you will feel feminine. A few layers will keep you not only warm but also they will give your outfit a bit of edge. You can get rid of one layer and you will still look interesting. A furry waistcoat can play a role of a coat or jacket. Underneath a see through shirt combined with a gold jumper creates a very soft look and I think it's very girly.

(On above picture: Zara skirt, Gstar boots, Mango belt, Jcrew shirt, Topshop jumper, Awear sleevless furry waistcoat and Michael Kors watch)

Here is a bit closer look what's under waistcoat:

MANGO sales

Hiya Girls,

I just received my package from Mango. I was so excited  opening the box, that I felt like a little girl opening a Christmas pressie. So I decided to share with you what I purchased and I also created a few outfits for you.

I know I ordered a lot...........but all items were on sale. Great bargains! Two blazers that I was looking forward to wear, and one bracelet didn't arrive as they were out of stock. I got a bit upset about that.. Hope all shopaholics know what I mean.

As you can see I got myself two dresses that I will use in my outfit ideas. One is more for work and the other one can be either to work or for a night out. It will depend what accessories you will use. I wear quite a lot of cardigans. Most of my tops have short sleeves therefore a nice cardigan or blazer can go with all of them:-) I got a black peplum skirt. I think it's a must have in your wardrobe. You can wear it to work or on a date. Not only it underlines your shape but also hides small imperfections.  I love the most my suede biker jacket. I love everything about it: the colour, cut and all the zip details. It will definitely brighten your autumn outfit. I also got two pairs of short that can be good for work or even for holidays. The grey top is very boyish. It has patches on the elbows. I think it looks quite good with straight leg jeans and flats boots. The last one is my oversized jumper. It's very light and the colour is great. It looks like yellow on the picture but it's more likely apple green. It's very comfy and light. Oh I think I didn't mention the navy top. It's a linen top which I'm going to take for my holidays, but I bet I will be wearing it all year long:-)

Here are some outfits ideas

OUTFIT 1

On below picture: Mango dress, Mango necklace, H&M boots, DKNY bag, NAKED eye shadows, ZARA belt, Michael Kors watch and Paco Rabanne Lady Million perfume.

OUTFIT 2

Outfit number two is a work outfit. I think it is very sophisticated. The dress is from Mango, black collar is from Penneys, boots are from ZARA and my favourite Michael Kors bag.

OUTFIT 3

The last outfit is very casual. I combined few different materials together like suede, cotton and leather.

On above picture: Mango suede jacket, Mango top, H&M scarf, Kurt Geiger boots, ZARA trousers, Penneys belt, NAKED eye shadows, Michael Kors watch and Paco Rabanne perfume.

Outfit idea

Hiya,

As I'm going on holidays in a few days I couldn't resist creating an outfit for a warm day. First 10 days I'll be in Rio de Janeiro and I know it's going to be really hot. Going out for a dinner I'd like to feel comfortable in what I'm wearing but also stylish. I got a bit crazy with the colours, so here it is:

(On above picture: Penneys top; Asos belt, Ms Kurt Geiger shoes, Prada sunglasses, Penneys necklace, River Island bangles)

Hope you all like it:-)
